Nekton International Ltd. was founded in early 2016 by online surveyor & marine wildlife enthusiast, Hayley Adlam. We specialise in offshore marine surveys from hydrographic to environmental. Our focus is to operate to Client specifications utilising the EIVA software suite in conjunction with a variety of Client supplied ancillary sensing equipment.

Nekton International Ltd. was born as a result of a desire to provide a seamless and personalised, Client orientated service. We value the unique inter-personal relations, & flexibility that being an independent survey provider allows us to bestow upon our Clients.

Our company name was derived from the latin zoological noun, 'Nekton', meaning to "swim freely within a body of water, independent of the current." This embodies not only the marine environment we survey, but also reflects the nature of the offshore industry; the ebb and flow of contracts, seasons, & of course, the very tides themselves.

Moving freely between Client requirements, finding solutions & effectively operating independently, one-to-one or within a team, are vitally important & these qualities are incorporated within our company values.

We aim to use initiative, operate pro-actively within all project disciplines & to focus upon providing high quality data & deliverables to our Clients.
